When I was a kid, serendipity was my favourite word. I didn’t know what it meant, I just liked the sound of it. Now that I know what it means (stumbling across something fortunate when you’re not looking for it), I like it even more, especially when it comes to travel.
It’s so easy to get caught up in where you’re going when you’re travelling, but it’s often the little things you saw or did along the way that you remember.
We were driving around the Sunshine Coast hinterland the other day and took a random detour. We weren’t really expecting to find anything very exciting, but we ended up spending hours there, watching these nutbags… (watch for the 15 metre fall at the end!)

That did look fun and it was lovely recognising the little voices in the back ground!
And you didn’t let your kids or Husband do it, why?
cos I’m the craziest member of the family and even I know not to dive into murky water!!
