This is the first in a new series of posts looking at travel products I have tried and tested. All products featured will be genuine recommendations – my opinions cannot be bought!
First cab off the rank is Chaco sandals - one of the best purchases I have ever made. They seemed like a lot of money when I bought them, but I have had them for more than a decade and they’re still going strong.
I wish I had a step-counter on them, because they have been around the world, exploring cities, on long hikes and crazy adventures – they must have done thousands and thousands of kilometres.
I’ve had them re-soled a couple of times but the straps and uppers look just as good as they did 10 years ago and they are without doubt some of the most comfortable walking shoes on the planet. They’re good for wet adventures such as kayaking and rafting and all you have to do to clean them is throw them in the washing machine. I tell you, they’re indestructible.
I know a few people who have bought them on my recommendation and they love them too. Have you tried them? Tell me what you think.
Excellent timing, thanks Jane. Just today I was looking in Athletes foot for a sandal that I can use camping (and walking on beaches/rivers).. Wil definitely explore these more! Anne.
