I am so impressed by these new luggage tags by Australia company Stick ‘n Go. They’re really tough, waterproof and so well thought out, so you have a much better chance of getting your bag back if you lose it.
One type of tag available is a brightly coloured destination address tag, with spaces to put your flight details, hotel details and ways you can be contacted while away, in case you lose your bag en route. The company says they are not intended to replace traditional luggage labels but to supplement them – you don’t really want your bag sent to your home address if you’re heading overseas for a month!
But what I really love are the tags specially designed for cables on phone chargers, laptop chargers and so on. Ask any hotel what is the number one item in their lost and found department and they will probably say phone chargers – they’re just so easy to leave behind and so hard to identify.
You can also get carabiner-style clip-on tags, ideal for rucksacks and camera bags, and a waterproof pen so your writing doesn’t rub or wash off. Great stuff.
