I’ve had a couple of emails from people wanting to know which resort I was referring to in my previous post. It was the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket, which I absolutely recommend (I stayed there anonymously and paid my own way), especially for families.
The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are big and it was really well priced for a five-star resort. The kids loved the elephants and the huge swimming pool – the longest outdoor pool in Asia, apparently – and we had the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. The hardest thing we did most days was swim to the bar to order a cocktail!
