Kudos to the Australian Government for adopting airport body scanning technology that provides greater security without invading our privacy.
The new scanners, which will be rolled out across all major gateway airports from November, produce stick figure images rather than the realistic ‘nude’ pictures captured by other scanner types. The government says the images cannot be stored or copied and the scanners emit less frequency than mobile phones.
Passengers will be left with few reasons to complain about the scanners, although there can be exemptions for serious medical conditions.

Awesome! Is this only Australia who will start up in November? Do we know if the US is far behind? I travel too much to accept that the countless body scanners aren’t harmful to me in any way..
Wow, very cool technology. I’m not sure if my shape would appear like that in the scan, probably a lot bigger, sadly.
